Indy 4 report from “Celebration III”

This is a brief update, no pics, no nada, just getting this out of my system before I finish my work for today.

George Lucas (more info from “Celebration III”) was talking about Indiana Jones 4 and had this to say (taken from Darkhorizons.com):

Lucas got a script for Indiana Jones 4 last week and Spielberg plans to make it the film he does after his next one (likely the Munich Olympics terrorist flick). By that timetable it would put in on track for a Summer 2007 release.

The last script Lucas threw across the room in disgust, it was written by friend Frank Davaport (spelling of his last name may have been butchered but I don’t really care right now, I don’t feel like looking it up) who directed films like The Shawshank Redemtion and The Green Mile. I believe he was George Lucas’ pick to write it while Spielberg’s was M. Night Shymalan. That would have been awesome in my opinion.

Let’s hope this script has a better fate then the last one.
