Just checking in

Yes, yes, I’m here…busy, but still here, I’m finishing up my damn thesis and a bunch of other projects. December seems like the month for me as most of my big things are due at the beginning. Though I still have to student teach till the end of Dec., (the twenty third is my last day). I’m hoping one Dec comes around I might be able to sit down and write a script or something. I’m dying to get creative again, I have so many ideas in my head that I can’t write down right now.

I miss being on here and it just seems too damn empty not putting anything up.

Hope everything is fine with everyone. Write me a comment or something.

Wow yeah, I figured you were busy…glad things are going well for you.

Congratulations on most things wrapping up in December…that’s not far off at all. You can do it!

I’m doing alright here…left DeVry for a semester, am getting a full time job. It seems like my full time job at this point is harassing CompUSA for a…job.

Yeah, anyhow, life is pretty much the same for me. Getting a job and taking some time off from school to get my act together. I’ll be going back to DeVry though, possibly in February. Depends on how many millions I make working full time. πŸ™‚

    Catch up with ya soon…

    Mike

Compu USA huh? Can you get me some free shit? What happened to college? you forget to do work? you need like a cool desk job at some high priced place that no one there knows how to fix or work computers or electronic stuff and they pay you some big bucks. I’ll remember you when I make it there. Trust me, I’m going to need someone with your expertise to get me going.

I plan on posting a lot more in a few weeks. I have a bunch of shit piling up to post too. Including the VAULT.

Good luck getting a job, you should also try: Best Buy, Circuit City, Borders, Barnes and Noble, Electronic Boutique, PC Richards and Son, Staples, Office Max, Office Depot, and anything else electronic.

    Talk to you later.

Awesome, thanks for the tips on the places…I got the Barnes and Noble one, but those others sound great too!!

I’m not sure what to say, I’m sick of general ed courses, I guess community college spoiled me. All I did there were tech courses, and I haven’t gotten anything close to that since I left there for FDU. DeVry was alright, but I guess I had lost my patience by the beginning of my second semester (maybe before that, really…I didn’t do so well first semester either).

So, I just need a break to get my act together…figure out what the hell I’m going to do with my life, I think my focus changes too often to really pick a major amongst tech courses. Am facing the reality that maybe school isn’t for me, or maybe I still haven’t found the right one.

There’s always tech degrees, read the book, take the test, get the degree. Instant gratification, nearly. That might be in my near future.

When you make it (and I know you will!!), I’d love to work for you.

LOL what kind of free shit do you want? I’m sure there’s plenty of it too, well, I hope.

    I see you’ve been posting a lot more…I swear I’ll catch up, dammit. πŸ˜€

Take your time catching up, I’m trying to post more too, even if I don’t really have time, I hated not posting.

Anything that’s free, blank cds, games, computers, even the store I’ll take…if its free

Take your time, you’re still young, you know, we’re only in our early twenties, their really isn’t a rush to do to much. Unless your parents start to charge rent. Then that would be bad. But make sure by 25 (the 1/4 century mark) you have at least an idea of which direction you want, and maybe the tech degrees are a good idea too.

Can understand that you didn’t want an empty site…or one just filled with old stuff.

Free stuff rocks…will be on the lookout for that.

The parents aren’t charging rent, but it would be really nice to get out anyway…you know, life is just a lot simpler that way. I guess I’d miss being around people, but the lack of headaches might be worth it.

Yeah, I think I might go for the tech degrees…it sounds like the difference between going through high school or getting a GED…high school looks better, but in the end it doesn’t really matter.

Also, I like instant gratification. I already said that, right? LOL

It’s nice being somewhat young, too…I think your early 20’s are kind of a sweet spot, you’re young enough to still be around your parents all the time, but old enough to be able to do just about anything. I think I’ve forgotten how restrictive being a kid can be (well, except that I still can’t drive).

Hehe, you’re only a couple of years older than me, too.

  6. socramforever says:

Yeah, I’m like two years older or something like that. But its cool. I know that I don’t want to be a teacher, but unfortunately I’m being pushed in that direction and it kind of sucks. I just want to be able to write and film and start a company and enjoy myself with what I’ve always dreamed of doing. I am in my early 20’s and I haven’t given up hope yet. Somehow, soon, I’ll get there. I just have to make it happen.

Instant gratification would be great if the whole world worked like a fast food resturant. I could always get the frostie and the french fries without gaining any weight.

  7. flammable says:

Exactly…I stand in front of the microwave and ask myself, “why won’t this go faster?”.

Sometimes 5 minutes is too long to wait for food. Heh.

I can appreciate what you mean…really. I’ve got something in mind too, but it just seems to be on hold right now…and you gotta just hold on to that.

  8. socramforever says:

What your holding on to is a dream (like me) and until we’re ready to go to get that dream all we can do is hold on to it. I haven’t let go of mine yet, and I still dream about it and day dream and look to the future knowning that where I will be one day soon.
