I think we’ve gone over this before, but basically the Rumble is VERY meticulously booked. Not just winner and losers, but when they come in and how long they stay and who they get eliminated by. Whereas regular battle royales are little more than the agents saying “OK, it goes 16 minutes, this guy wins, knock yourselves out” the Rumble generally (at least under Pat Patterson’s watch) was broken down into several segments where certain stuff would happen in a certain order.
