Holy big ass rabbit, Batman!

Melissa sent me this link to this big ass rabbit, they are part of a breed of rabbits called Continental Rabbits (or something to the extent of Continent, like the North American Continent, or the Continent of Europe or Australia is the only island that is a continent…I hope you get it by now) these mother fers are huge. They are bigger than Peanut Chew, bigger than Mathew, and probably bigger than Bae is.

Imagine this monster of a bunny (or I guess by this point they’re just called “bun”) hopped around your livingroom. I’d let him eat whatever he wanted, sit where ever he wanted, do whatever it pretty much wanted. Peanut nips at us every now and then, I can’t imagine what this beast would do.

Here is the caption that went with it, from yahoo.com:

German rabbit breeder Karl Szmolinsky presents his giant male breeding rabbit ‘Robert’ in Eberswalde, eastern Germany, February 2006. In a tale reminiscent of the last Wallace and Gromit movie, furious villagers in northeast England have hired armed guards to protect their beloved communal vegetable gardens from a suspected monster rabbit.(AFP/File/Michael Urban)

Think about the sound it would make when it hopped around…whomp, whomp, whomp!

  1. Holy crap, that’s real? Wow…I remember people posted pictures of very large cats, and they were all photoshopped…this is insane, though.

  2. yeah, I know a lot of the cat pictures, those looked fake, this is real…I didn’t know that they went to that size, that’s crazy…Melissa wants one…

  3. nice! Colbert is the man. I honestly didn’t know he got his own show, I just thought that it was still a segment on The Daily Show.

  4. Nope, in fact, his character on The Daily Show was a totally different person…I don’t know how it happened, either, but it’s awesome.

  5. Yup, same name. When he was on The Daily Show, he was just another wisecracking “journalist”…and then when he split off to his own show, he became a parody of people like Bill O’Reilly.

  6. well, they are both making a lot of money. Do you remember before Jon Stewart was on the Daily Show it was with Craig Kilborne? I do…sadly…I used to watch it when they showed the whole weeks worth of shows on Sundays. But I never got into Jon Stewart after Kilborne left and now I wish I had, because if I join now I’ll seem like someone jumping on the bandwagon but I was the bandwagon when the show first first started…all of you are my followers! Don’t deny it!!!

  7. LOL! I remember Kilbourne…and in the intro credits, they even named the Daily Show news van. Those were the days.

Honestly, I didn’t like Jon Stewart when he took over, either…but he really make the show “his”. Join now, because at least you’ll be beating someone.

  8. This is true. I just don’t know when the show is on. I don’t know if its a repeat or if its a new show. Do they repeat all of the shows on the weekend?

  9. Kilbourne is a pain because he gets into shows and then gets out of them. He took over for the Late Late Show and then after three years left. He has a history of doing that I guess. Someone who isn’t meant to last on tv at all.
