Al Pacino has joined the cast of “Ocean’s 13”. Pacino will star alongside the likes of George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and Andy Garcia, reports Ananova.

Details of the plot are being kept under wraps, but Warner Bros revealed that Pacino will play Willie Banks, the owner of a high-profile casino and hotel in Las Vegas.

Director Steven Soderbergh aims to start filming in July and aims to release the movie in June 2007. Shooting is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

Al Pacino! Holy Crap! This is massive. Much bigger and bolder move then anything that they did with Ocean’s 12. This is looking like a legit contender for great sequel.

Through all this I have yet to read anything from what Evkoz was talking to me about from having Celine Dion or Barry Manalow in the Ocean’s movie. Personally, I think that would be stupid, unless its just for a split second and having someone sitting in on one of their concerts. Other than that it would be stupid. They need to get this one right or people will just shit on them.
