Ocean’s 13 update, just for Evkoz

He told me about it, and now I’m posting it:

Manilow, Dion and Cohen Set to Appear in ‘Ocean’s Thirteen’

By WENN| Tuesday, April 18, 2006

Ocean’s Thirteen will begin shooting in July in Burbank, California, where a fully operational casino will be built.

Warner Bros. studios are looking to Manilow and Dion to add some musical star power to the film, according to moviehole.net.

Cohen, renowned for his kooky alter-ego Ali G, will play a character specifically written for him by the film’s star George Clooney.

Clooney explains, “I think he’s a great actor and I’ve written a role exclusively for him.

“I know he’s a fan of my work and we’re hooking up together soon. He will be an oddball character. ”

Still think its dumb…although the Ali G character should be fucking amazing. This movie is going to rock. As long as they don’t put Manilow and Dion in it…

  1. Barry Manilow and Celine Dion? Shouldn’t they be in the next Dawn of the Dead movie?

Haha, just kidding…I’m on a roll tonight. Must be because it’s 2 AM. 🙂

  2. I guess it was 2 AM, hehe. All of the blog comments are in UTC time, which is some sort of standard, I guess…so none of them are in EST (eastern standard time).

  3. I’ve heard of this Greenich Mean time thing…but I don’t remember what it was…what is it? I still don’t get it. What does -5 mean….I mean…god, this is too much thinking for a wednesday!

  4. Hahaha…think of it this way. GMT exists so that everyone can figure out how much of a time difference there is between places. For instance, New Jersey is GMT -5 because we’re -5 hours from GMT time. California is GMT -8 (which means it’s a 3 hour difference from us).

Take a look at the chart here:

    http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/time-zone/usa/

It breaks down all of the states and their GMT differences.

  5. No way! It’s just that you’d think he should be the guy to understand it…since he has a need to.
