Superman Returns

The third trailer from last night to creep unto the internet is Superman Returns, looks pretty damn good just like the other two, and is a sequel to the last four Superman movies but at the same time it is like a restarted franchise with an all new cast. I like what I’m seeing…

here’s the trailer: http://www.apple.com/trailers/wb/supermanreturns/trailer2/large.html

Dunno, something about the trailer…I don’t know, something just doesn’t feel right to me.

Who’s playing Lex Luthor? I recognize him from somewhere.

Kevin Spacey…you’d know him from: Usual Suspects, American Beauty, he was even in Se7en, although you probably would miss him, he had a small but very effective roll as the killer. His screen time is very very short.

I had the same feeling while watching it. it looks good, but not amazing. Pirates looks amazing, X3 looks amazing, but Superman Return looks like just another Superman movie, or an episode of Lois and Clark.

Wow, Kevin Spacey! I have a lot of respect for the guy…sort of like Tom Hanks.

Never saw Se7en, but I loved The Usual Suspects…and I think you’re dead-on for the new Superman movie. It could be a Lois and Clark movie.

Yeah, I think that’s why I’m kind of indifferent to it, we’ve seen this before. Its nothing new. I grew up watching the show so why should this be any different?

ever watch Sea Quest? random question…but is kind of linked to Lois & Clark…they were both on Sundays back in the day.

  6. flammable says:

    Wow, never heard of it.

I think I watched Lois and Clark on TNT? Maybe that’s when it went on reruns…keep in mind you’re a couple years older than me.

the new movie trailer looks like it sheds more light on the whole movie. It looks even more wild. Its kind of confusing. The movie looks like its going to be really long.

you’re what? 22? Sea Quest was on NBC and Lois and Clark was on ABC, they played at the same time, but when they moved Sea Quest to another night, the ratings dropped dramatically and it fell off the face of the earth only 12 episodes into the third season. Lois and Clark continued for another two seasons, but once they married Lois and Clark, the show was crap and it was cancelled with Lois pregnate.

  9. flammable says:

That was actually interesting…it’s how they took footage of Marlon Brando (who is dead) and used computer animation to fit him into the new script.

ohh! man!! Happy birthday! I’m still 24, January 28th, big day…I just won’t be proposing to anyone this year…hehehe

  11. socramforever says:

yeah…movie was still a let down…I’ll probably still buy it…along with Superman II the Richard Donner cut, the guy who directed the first Superman and was supposed to direct the second one and did, but was fired…
