Back in the mansion

For those of you that know of Fairliegh Dickinson University’s Madison campus, you know that it is home to one of the most beautiful mansions (owned by the Vanderbilt family) and is the certain piece of the whole campus. Well, Melissa was invited to a communication reunion dinner and we went. It was nice, free food and we met with some alumni.

While there the first person I saw was a former RA by the name of Chris Buffa. Evkoz would remember this name because he was his RA his freshmen year and was the person before me to stay on first floor Hamilton two years in a row (the person that lived there the year before I moved down there from third floor was moved to the new building Rutherford) it was cool seeing Buffa because he and I would talk on line through his video game blog on a website no longer on line called Gamerfeed.com. He gave me his business card for the site that he is now the editor in chief of Gamedaily.com which was just bought by AOL; which is a great thing because it can only lead to better things now that they are under the AOL banner (in my opinion).

He’s doing pretty well for himself and I will be posting more video game information from Game Daily.com. Check it out if you get a chance. http://www.gamedaily.com

Nice. From what I’ve read, being bought by AOL means you’re swimming in money, but you kind of take a hit in the creative process.

But hey, money’s good. And the site looks like it’s stillgoing, so that’s a good thing.

yeah, though I don’t see their blogs anymore, he had a blog called Level 8-1 on the first site he was on and then when he moved to Gamedaily he had one called Level 8-2 and now I don’t see it anymore. But its still a good site.
