The Final Dairy Queen of the Summer

not really the Dairy Queen by us, but I found this pic on line.

So, Melissa and I toyed around with the idea of going to Rita’s last night (I don’t believe we’ve actually gone for any at all this summer)and we decided that it was too far to drive at 8 o’clock last night. Last week we debated going to Dairy Queen, ultimately deciding that we didn’t need it. But last night it was like a must, seeing that we probably wouldn’t be going back again until next summer (Dairy Queen was always right around the corner but we never went, for one reason or another, and its not like we always go anyway. Its like a once in a while thing. But once we got the house, it was there and might as well right?)

This summer was good. It was quick too. I hate the fact that summer is ending.

Anyway, with thoughts about Dairy Queen, there’s a joke that I always ask Melissa whenever we pass it by: “What if Burger King and Dairy Queen got married?”

To which her response is almost always: “I don’t know…”

I once asked Jenna and she said: “A Happy Meal…”

But seeing that there isn’t any McDonald’s in that combination, at all, I’m going to have to throw that answer out.

And finally, this one hit me a few weeks ago: What if Dairy Queen cheated on Burger King with Bottle King?

I’ll let you sit on that one for a while…
