Word of the Day

I’ve known this word for a while, but I saw it on a blog and I thought I’d post it. I’m thinking about using it as a title to a script (I just don’t know what the script would be about…haha!) but here goes, from dictionary.com:

antithesis

anâ‹…tithâ‹…eâ‹…sis

/ænˈtɪθəsɪs/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [an-tith-uh-sis] Show IPA –noun, plural -ses

/-ËŒsiz/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [-seez] Show IPA .

1. opposition; contrast: the antithesis of right and wrong.
2. the direct opposite (usually fol. by of or to): Her behavior was the very antithesis of cowardly.
