I don’t think I have to explain my love for the Back to the Future (BTTF) movies at all. Just look at all of the “Related Blog Posts” underneath. I’m still working on a Roundtable for BTTF (along with one on Indiana Jones). Needless to say, I remember about fifteen years ago or so, give or take a few years, discovering how awesome IMDB.com is and finding all of my favorite movies and the trivia that went along with them. Then to find out BTTF had an original actor as the lead. Then a few years later finding footage on the Back to the Future DVDs.

Below is an article from comingsoon.net, also, I think its safe to say I want BTTF on BluRay for Christmas, so it is now officially added to the Christmas List 2010:

The “Back to the Future” trilogy is hitting Blu-ray on October 26 (details here) and a first look at the original Marty McFly, Eric Stoltz, from the set is now online thanks to The Hollywood Reporter.

In case you didn’t know, writer/director Robert Zemeckis was five weeks into shooting Back to the Future when he and executive producer Steven Spielberg made the drastic decision to change the lead actor as Stoltz’s comedic timing just wasn’t working for the film. It was then that Michael J. Fox was brought in and he reshot all those scenes from the first five weeks.

You can now check out a clip from the never-before-seen footage below!
