"Angry Birds" App Getting A Series

Rovio, the Finnish company behind the popular iPhone and iPad game app “Angry Birds”, has confirmed a fictional narrative series is in the works reports Heat Vision.

“We have been looking at [a show[ for quite a while, and that is definitely one of my personal big focus areas right now — to work on broadcast content for Angry Birds” says Mikael Hed.

It’s uncertain whether it will air on TV or online, or both. The app has been downloaded more than 50 million times.
