NaNoWriMo: Write a novel during National Novel Writing Month

It’s Nov. 1 and that means NaNoWriMo is kicking off once again. It’s the 13th annual National Novel Writing Month project, which just keeps growing every year. So just what is NaNoWriMo?

It’s a project that began in 1999 in order to provide a structured, supportive group in which to write 50,000 words in a month, which is approximately a 175-page novel. Just 21 people participated in 1999 and by 2010, over 200,000 people
