There has been talk about more ‘Terminator’ movies ever since the fourth one, ‘Terminator Salvation’ came out in the summer of 2009. While the movie did fine at the box office, the returns weren’t as high as the owners of the property had hoped and they were sold a few years ago. Now, the current owners are wooing the original star to the film series.

I haven’t heard anything official, but I’m willing to hear what they have planned for what they are calling “the closing of the franchise”. I have no problem with them continuing the franchise and ending it somewhere. Last thing I want is them to reboot the series without the original getting a true ending (although, I for one feel the series actually ended with T2, the second and final James Cameron Terminator movie.
