This is the “reboot” to the Alex Cross series based on the novels by James Patterson. Tyler Perry (most notably known from the Madea movies) is playing the roll of Alex Cross, originated by Morgan Freeman in both ‘Kiss The Girls’ and ‘Along Came A Spider’.

This looks more like an action movie versus the Morgan Freeman version of the film.
