Warning of virus killing rabbits

Its no secret that I love my rabbit Peanut Chew. He has been my little boy for going on 9 years now. So, when I heard about this virus killing rabbits I knew I had to post something to warn people to watch out for this.

Rabbits become infected through contact with mosquitos, fleas, ticks and other infected rabbits. After contact, rabbits show signs of an infection as soon as two to three days and usually don’t survive, Stern said. Symptoms include swollen eyes with some discharge, lethargy, loss of appetite and respiratory distress.

If your rabbit is showing signs, please go to the vet and get them the medical attention that they need.
