‘The Avengers’ has crossed $400 million domestically

I still haven’t seen it, but ‘The Avengers’ has been blowing away the record books. It is now the fast movie to ever hit $400 million domestically; doing it in only 14 days (the previous record was 18 days held by ‘The Dark Knight’.

Globally, ‘Avengers’ keeps on plowing through films on the Top Ten list; the film is sitting at #9 with over $1.070 billion.

Crossing my fingers on seeing it soon.

I mentioned this short, produced by !ROBOT HAND! and directed by Kevin Lonano earlier this month in the post FDU Senior Thesis Film Night. I looked on IMDB a few days ago and saw that they were up there. Happy to see that the short is up and hope to see some great things from them in the near future.

The teaser for the comedy also leaked, but it was a poor quality video and it really didn’t show too much so I figured I might as well wait until a better version is out.

Not too much to say about the poster, but I am excited that they are finally making a sequel to this comedy!

Did you like the original ‘Anchorman’? Do you think it is a good idea for there to be a sequel?

‘Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2′ trailer

I did end up buying Episode I of Sega’s ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 4′ on our iPod Touch (that we’ve somehow misplaced for the last few months) and while I enjoyed it, I couldn’t help but be underwhelmed. Maybe the game needs to be enjoyed on an actual platform, like an Xbox or PS3, and not on a small handheld device. I’m shocked that ‘Sonic 4 episode 2′ isn’t for download on the Nintendo Wii…maybe when Wii U comes out they’ll put it on there.

‘Sonic 4′ looks like they are trying to top themselves all together, from what I just saw in the below trailer, this game looks fantastic. Wouldn’t mind trying it out.
