…who will win this weekend?
From IMDB.com:
Will ‘Pirates’ Be Caught in ‘Vice’?
For the second week in a row, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest will be challenged by four new films, and some box-office analysts are predicting that this time, the film, No. 1 at the box office for the previous three weeks, may finally take a hit. The movie version of Miami Vice is likely to knock off the Disney film, which nevertheless stands a strong chance of retaining its crown. Nevertheless, no film is expected to earn more than $25 million this weekend. If Universal’s Miami Vice doesn’t perform better than that, it would represent the second disappointment in a month for an expensive film, following the falloff in ticket sales for Superman Returns. Vice reportedly cost $140 million to produce.
I say Pirates makes at least 15-25 million this weekend.
