3 winners on Jeapardy for the first time

I didn’t think there was ever two winners on the show, but I guess even that is more probable then this!

3 ‘Jeopardy’ contestants end up tied

All those years of answers and questions, and it’s never happened before on “Jeopardy!” What is a three-way tie, Alex?

The three contestants on the venerable game show all finished with $16,000 after each answering the final question correctly in the category, “Women of the 1930s,” on Friday’s show. They identified Bonnie Parker, of the famed Bonnie and Clyde crime duo, as a woman who, as a waitress, once served one of the men who shot her.

“We’ve had a lot of crazy things happen on `Jeopardy!’ but in 23 years I’ve never seen anything like this before,” host Alex Trebek said.

The show contacted a mathematician who calculated the odds of such a three-way tie happening รขโ‚ฌโ€ one in 25 million.

The three contestants, Jamey Kirby of Gainesville, Fla.; Anders Martinson of Union City, Calif.; and Scott Weiss of Walkersville, Md; were all declared champions and taped a rematch that will air Monday.

Crazy! A rematch? Sounds like they need a cage!

Wow! Why a rematch? Just declare them all Jeopardy champions! ๐Ÿ˜€

Ooh, have them all face off against Ken Jennings.

I think they did, but now they have to see who out of the three of them is a Jeopardy champion for that given day.

  3. flammable says:

You know, I really like the idea of the three of them having their combined scores against Ken Jennings’s score. That’d be quite awesome. 4 people on Jeopardy!

  4. socramforever says:

Every day there is a new Jeopardy Champion so I don’t think it matters really. Ken Jennings is a dumbass, he lost the big challenge where the top Jeopardy winners came and he lost!

  5. socramforever says:

that would make thing interesting…or, the three of them just against Ken Jennings…so the three who won at the same time just fighting to get one buzzer!
