Here’s something I didn’t know that they recast, I just figured they would have just worked in another character. The Rachel Dawes charecter that was originally played by Katie Holmes in Batman Begins, here’s a pic:

Katie Holmes did not want to return (or could not, I don’t remember what the problem was) but the character will now be played by Maggie Gyllenhaal (yes, sister to Jake Gyllenhaal) and an actress who I think is great and very pretty. I have to say that this one was a bit of a surprise, kind of like the choice that they made for Rachel Weizz’s replacement for The Mummy 3, I think this choice is also good. Also, I think that they chose a much better actress and the movie is going to be better received simply for the change.
