Before I go around and do my to-do list I decided to check on-line and see what was new in the world of movie rumors and the such and I found this one, the teaser trailer for the 22nd James Bond movie. Something tells me that the title is going to throw a lot of people off but I think that it is going to be huge. I can’t wait for this one to come out:
Is this a direct sequel to Casino Royale?
Still haven’t seen that one, probably should at some point.
It is. It was probably the best of the James Bond movies. Why do I think that we’ve had this conversation before? Lol.
Hahahaha, because we probably have.
There’s a long, long list of movies I have yet to see…and it grows by the day. I saw Batman Begins though, did I tell you?
no, what did you think? did you ever see the Tim Burton Batman? With Michael Keaton?
I don’t think I’ve seen Tim Burton’s Batman, but I did see the Michael Keaton Batman.
I also saw all of those other crappy sequels, the ones with the Batmobile climbing up walls and Batman’s costume having nipples. So, Batman begins is a refreshing change.
Christian Bale – I really like him as an actor, but I’m not sure that he makes for a great Batman. Better than George Clooney, yes, but that’s easy. Bale does an excellent Bruce Wayne, though. The voice when he’s in costume, though, just doesn’t sound right.
Glad they’re going back to basics, though – you can never go wrong if you stick to the comics (they should have done that with Spider-Man). Batman is very dark, and straddles the line between vengeance and justice. These movies embrace that, and are doing well as a direct result.
What did you think? 🙂
Sorry, Tim Burton was the guy who directed Batman and Batman Returns (with Michael Keaton as Batman) the two best out of the original four. I saw Batman Forever, which isn’t bad, but isn’t good anymore this weekend in the hospital with Melissa. And then Batman & Robin came on afterward and I cringed as I watched it. It was terrible.
Wow, really? I didn’t realize Tim Burton directed more than the first one. Hmm.
I’ve kinda meshed together all of the early Batman movies, except for the first one, which I didn’t see.
Eventually, it just got so ridiculous that a reboot was a good idea.
The first one was the best out of the originals. Now Batman Begins and The Dark Knight seem to have blown those out of the water!
