“Highlander” reboot gets a screenwriter

Cos

I was pretty certain I had posted about the potential Highlander reboot a long time ago, but from my last search I could not find anything that I posted Highlander related. Either my search was bad or I never got around to doing it.

Anyway, it seems as if Twighlight screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg is penning the reboot. Great, that’s just what we need. I’m sure this will turn into a crappy remake with bad dialog. I mean of all the things to give this woman, why not give her the newest Nicolas Sparks novel?

The film spawned several sequels, both theatrically and made for television as well as both live-action and animated television series.
