The Ruthless Roundtable returns with the most talk about Pay Per View not to be included within the BIG FOUR of Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, SummerSlam and Survivor Series. I for one have been paying close attention to WWE television recently, especially with CM Punk on Raw who has been on fire recently with his mic work and his ruthless but very truthful rants.
Below we will give you our predictions for tonight’s 2nd annual Money in the Bank PPV.
 Money in the Bank 2011
Matches
WWE Champion John Cena vs. CM Punk
World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton vs. Christian
Raw Money in the Bank Ladder Match
SmackDown Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Big Show vs. Mark Henry
Divas Champion Kelly Kelly vs. Brie Bella
Cos’ Money in the Bank 2011 Predictions
I’m going to be quick with these:
WWE Champion John Cena vs. CM Punk
Winner and New WWE Champion: CM Punk
But that’s not to say that someone who wins the Money in the Bank match won’t cash in.
World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton vs. Christian
Hopefully: Winner and New World Heavyweight Champion: Christian
Raw Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Winner: The Miz
SmackDown Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Winner: Daniel Bryan
Big Show vs. Mark Henry
Winner: Mark Henry
Divas Champion Kelly Kelly vs. Brie Bella
Winner and still Champion: Kelly Kelly
Mother Brain’s Money in the Bank 2011 Predictions
By Mother Brain
Another pointless match. Mark Henry needs to retire.
Winner: Big Show
SmackDown Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Only one of two guys seem worthy of a world heavyweight title push: Sheamus and Cody Rhodes. Personally, I think Sheamus had his day in the sun and a feud with Orton doesn’t seem to be worth watching when Smackdown’s ratings have hit a new low. Rhodes, however, has the history with Orton as well his impressive work in the ring. With the MITB briefcase adding to his deranged gimmick turn, it’ll make the feud that much more intense.
Winner: Dashing Cody Rhodes
Raw Money in the Bank Ladder Match
There’s only one logical winner of this match and it’s Alberto Del Rio. Raw is lacking in the heel front and The Miz is currently distracted by his feud with Alex Riley. Everyone else (Kofi, Mysterio, Truth, Swagger) had their shot and there’s no way in hell Evan Bourne is taking that briefcase. Del Rio is the man and destined to be WWE champ by year’s end.
Winner: Alberto Del Rio
World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton vs. Christian
Unless my prediction about Rhodes comes to life, expect a potential title change. Christian works better as a heel, works well with Orton, and Orton has little to no competition on Smackdown. Expect this to go into Summerslam
Winner and new World Heavyweight Champion: Christian
WWE Champion John Cena vs. CM Punk
Here’s where I have to be bold and put a damper on you at the same time. Regardless of the momentum he’s created in the last two weeks, if CM Punk is definitely leaving the company, there will be no title change. Vince McMahon goes for the money and his money is on keeping Cena strong for Wrestlemania. The last thing that will happen is the company shifting directions with a new top star. As I said in an earlier blog, the WWE cares about it’s image more than product quality. So one way or another, Punk will sadly be screwed in Chicago and the fans will be screwed out of their ice cream bars.
Shame on you, Good Humor. Shame on you.
Winner and still WWE Champion: John Cena
Justice’s Money in the Bank 2011 Predictions:
Cena vs Punk: Punk wins! And resigns. And hugs Vince. Cena’s gone! Not so fast… Del Rio/Kofi cashes in and saves Cena’s job… and Vince fires Punk
Chosen One’s Money in the Bank 2011 Predictions:
Punk has been quite possibly the best heel the company has had in a LONG time. It started with SES and has carried to the new nexus of course he is the only nexus guy that is relievent right now despite Otunga and Mcguilicuty being tag champs. His shoot a couple weeks ago on Raw calling out Vince and his contract issues was great story line. It was something you know they wrote in but he put his on twist on it and just continues to perform. What I see happening is Punk beating Cena via anoconda vice(wishful thinking) maybe but not necessarily. look for a run in by new nexus. although punk doesnt need it. The more Super Cena we see the worse reaction he seems to get. We know he is not going to be fired. So he will lose it but then one of the money in the bank winners will cash in and take the title back from Punk.Orton vs. Chrisitian
Easilly has become the feud of the year already. These two carry amazing back and forth matches but hey Christian has been doing that his whole career.. I love heel Christian. It is just who he is. He has the tools to be a world champion but for whatever reason He is not allowed to keep the title so I see Orton pulling out a close one I think this feud goes one more PPV and Orton will lose the title at SummerSlam. But the win here is Randy via RKO MATCH OF THE NIGHTRaw money in the bank match
Not really up for this one. Miz vs Riley is already old. Taking Miz from the main event status was a mistake sending him back down to midcard status he loses a lot of his WOW. Riley obviously has no chance. Jack Swagger has the skill but lacks a definite character he surprised me before with a win but I cant give him this one. Evan Bourne is put in this match simply to spot fest all over the ring. He has so much energy and excitement but not ever going to get a push in the heavyweight division. Kofi Kingston is another great athlete stuck in midcard hell. I still scratch my head asking why he is from Africa but still acts like he is from Jamaica oh well. He will hit a few big spots but wont get the title. The top 3 candidates to win the match rtruth had his chance and may be the recipient of some sick bumps but lil jimmy will once again keep him down. Rey Mysterio is in the match just to give it a big name. I think he will get a title push before year is out but not from the briefcase. Your winner Alberto Del Rio. He has started to lose a little swag so this will push him back up the ladder…
Smackdown money in the bank
Make this one spot fest 2011 with a bunch of young wrestlers and the likes of sin cara heath slater and justin gabriel along with power of sheamus, kane, and wade barrett i dont care who wins this one there should be some amazing moves in this one. On a whim I am going to go with a dark horse and say Cody Rhodes
Big Show vs. Mark Henry
Put these two in a ladder match lol Its going to be a terrible match. Mark Henry has been dominating the prematch fights so I am thinking this one turns into a fight and double DQ with big show nocking out Mark Henry before its done.
Kelly Kelly Vs. Brie Bella
Kelly Kelly has gotten better she couldnt get much worse and still has a looooooong way to go before she can be considered a good female wrestler. She has no business beating Melina but I dont book the matches. I am gonna say Kelly kelly retains the title in a quick 3 minute match
I think it gonna be your average ppv I will give it a 6 out of 10
Bourne spot of the night
Orton Christian Match of the night
Biggest surprise Punk wins then loses to Del Rio…
