OUT THIS WEEK (in Theaters)
Weekend of: September 23rd–25th, 2011
A little late, but here just the same. Busy week. With equally busy weekend at the box office.
Check out the movies below!
Abduction
Starring:Taylor Lautner, Lily Collins, Alfred Molina, Sigourney Weaver, and Jason Isaacs.
Directed by: John Singleton
Taylor Lautner plays a teen who finds out that his entire childhood has been a lie and takes off when he finds himself in danger. I’ll probably skip this one, simply because it’s Taylor Lautner…yes, I am biased.
Dolphin Tale
Starring: Morgan Freeman, Ashley Judd, Harry Connick Jr., and Kris Kristofferson
Directed by: Charles Martin Smith
This one is from the people who brought you “The Blind Side” and it is in 2D and 3D and it was inspired by the true story of a dolphin and the courageous people who saved her life.
Killer Elite
Starring: Jason Statham, Clive Owen, Robert De Niro, Yvonne Strahovski, and Dominic Purcell.
Directed by: Gary McKendry
An ex-Special Ops Agent must come out of retirement to rescue his mentor by completing the seemingly impossible task of killing three assassins. It’s not every day that Robert De Niro gets third billing and this is Jason Statham’s second or third (or maybe fourth) movie this year. But it does look good.
Moneyball
Starring: Brad Pitt, Jonah Hill, Robin Wright, and Philip Seymore Hoffman.
Directed by:Bennett Miller
What is up with all the “Based on a true story” concepts this weekend? This one is about a would-be baseball star who turns to management.
