Saw this article a few days ago, I have to say its pretty impressive the how much effort has gone into creating this town in order to test these self-driving cars!

Residency,Campus construction.
Called MCity (I’m assuming M is for Mobile) was officially opened on Monday, July 21 and boasts “a 32-acre faux metropolis designed specifically to test automated and connected vehicle tech.”
At any given point in time anyone from Google, Audi, Nissan, and Delphi could be testing on these streets.
