Today, my Aunt Carmen passed away. I am really saddened by the loss, when my Grandmother passed away, over a decade ago, I felt as if she stepped up into that position of the family. Though I didn’t see her much the last few years, as I did when I was younger, she was always at many of my milestone events like my graduation party, wedding, baby shower.

I have some great memories going to her house to spend time with her, cousins and other family members and I will never forget them.

I will miss you very much, Titi Carmen.
