Honesty, shocked it took this long simply based on the buzz surrounding season 1 of ‘Stranger Things’; but I’m relieved that the summer hit on Netflix has now been renewed for a second season.

No news on when the second season will debut (I’d hope it would be next summer) but the season will expand to 9 episodes as opposed to season 1’s 8 episodes.

‘Stranger Things’ was such a great original homage to 80’s horror and a Sci-fi movies and I can’t wait to see what they have in stored for this next chapter.
