Yeah, I was back yesterday afternoon. We went to go pick Peanut Chew up from his grandparents and we came back here. Then Adam and Ed came over and the four of us (Me, Melissa, Adam and Ed) went out for Japanese food across the street. We had a good time. Came back here and just hung out for the rest of the night. Laughed, had a good time; Peanut was a very well behaved animal.

I’m running off of the new computer, and I don’t have my printer or my blog program up and running yet (help me Vault Keeper, you’re my only hope!) but its definitely running a lot faster.

I’m also running off of AIM 6.0 and as much as I would love to go backwards, I feel that there may be things that AIM 6.0 is better at. I mean one of the options of 6.0 is to not have multiple AIM screens for the different people you are talking to. They are all tabbed under on thing. Its a very space saving concept! So, where I can’t recommend it just yet, I will say I’m going to give it a shot!

So, I’m back. And I should be posting some thing up real soon.

  1. for once, I wish we could send companies a bill for the amount of days we couldn’t properly use their products…then we’d see how long it would take them to fix their stuff!

  2. Damn right! They sometimes refund us for the outage of service, but this time they didn’t.

I actually called Comcast, and they accused me over the phone of lying…bah! That’s why I hate calling them. They told me if they send a tech and he finds no problem, then they’ll charge me $25 for the tech visit.

And guess what? He got out here, and found the signal was too strong (apparently that’s just as bad as a weak signal). He’s awesome, he fixed the cable signal, and then tweaked the TV, too.

  3. a signal that is too strong? that’s not right! hey, we have an option to get the fiber optics in our apartment should we (and when would you like to move in?)

also, did you pay him money to give you free cable?

  4. Hey, he can do that? We don’t currently get HBO, but that would be nice…

Dude, you can get fiber?! AND I can move in? Holy crap…I think my head just exploded.

Seriously, fiber is like 10 times faster than cable. Did I tell you, my town sold out to Comcast. No fiber coming to my town anytime soon, most likely.

  5. I don’t think you can actually pay the cable guys off–anymore that is. I think you could at one point in time.

Did you piece you head back together? Wouldn’t want that staining the carpet.

When are you moving out of your town?
