Counting Down the Days: Week in Review

If there was any doubt about how busy things have gotten, just take a look at the blog from the last two weeks. Nothing! Or, a better way to say it would be, barely anything to nothing! With about fifteen or so days left (if you count today)till the wedding on Oct. 13th, things are literally coming down to the wire. I don’t think we’re rushing anything or trying to get anything done last minute at all, we’ve been trying very hard to get everything done well ahead of time. And in my opinion, everything is running smoothly.

I’m extremely excited about the wedding and the Honeymoon! Whoo! St. “Mama” Lucia! (as Melissa (and I as well) has been calling it). I can’t believe that it was only a year and a half ago that I had posted on the blog that we had gotten engaged and now its almost upon us. Truly a testament to the cliche “how fast time flies…”

Last Saturday I had my Bachelor Party: Part One of Two, in Philly, and I had a great time. We went to a Cuban restaurant called Cuba Libre, amazing food! Then four of us went to two strip clubs. The first one, Show and Tel (and it is missing the second “L” on purpose), which is considered a juice bar (BYOB) and there were just too many people there. So we walked a little further and we went to a nice Gentleman’s Club called Risque (or as I found out later, Club Risque) and we had a great time there!

During the week, work is work, what can I say about it. I don’t love it, but I don’t hate it, it pays my bills. I guess that’s how everyone sees it too huh?

Tonight, I will be having my Bachelor Party: Part Two of Two and as far as I know, its up in the air where we’re going to eat. We have full intentions of going to Mars 2112, but I don’t know if we’ll be able to get in. I’ll be going to Evkoz into the city via train, early just to ensure that we get some seats and scoop out the area. It looks like it should be a pretty nice day today, might be a little chilly, which is fine. I don’t mind chilly (but I left my jacket at work and I don’t know what I’m going to do…lol!)

Peanut Chew and I are hanging out right now, I’m going to go with my parents and get lunch a little later, not too late. I want to be hungry for dinner.

Netflix has slowed down, too much going on right now–including the new fall season starting up! Bones and House is on the same night! Whoo!!! Its like when Sliders and X-Files were on at the same night! Oh man! A new Ghost Hunters season. Amazing!

Anyway, I’ll try and post some things, things have been busy, obviously. Hope everyone is well.
