Just the title by itself sounds awesome. I actually want to read this book, especially if Steven Spielberg is directing this, it has to be good.

Steven Spielberg will next direct Robopocalypse, an adaptation of the Daniel H. Wilson novel hitting stores on June 7, 2011. The DreamWorksproject will be distributed by Disney’s Touchstone Pictures.The book, which explores the fate of the human race following a robot uprising, was adapted for the big screen by Drew Goddard (Cloverfield).

Spielberg is expected to start shooting the sci-fi film in January of 2012 for a release in 2013.

Before then, the filmmaker will be finishing up The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn and War Horse. The former will be released on December 23, 2011 followed by the latter just five days later.
