Microsoft HoloLens


Someone at work showed me this video for this upcoming project from Microsoft called the HoloLens. Unlike the Google Glass which would have just been an extension of a smartphone, the HoloLens looks as if it would actually be something that could be utilized in all aspects of life in the home and at work.

From waht we can see in the video, you put on the HoloLens and all around you images and apps appear. Even a widescreen tv can appear and you can stretch it to be as big as you want it to be. You can also Skype with anyone in the world and talk to them while working and walking around and you can be looking at a problem like plumbing while the plumber helps you through the problem.

He also love to spend time with his wife and as of July of 2015 they welcomed their first child, Miles, who can occasionally be seen on the blog.
