Spielberg to reboot ‘Jaws’ and ‘Back to the Future’?

Say it isn’t so!

Looks like Steven Spielberg’s Dreamworks is ending their relationship with Disney and moving over to Universal and with that being said it looks like there may be discussions over whether or not classic properties like ‘Jaws’ and ‘Back to the Future’ may be rebooted.

Honestly, when I saw this post I teared up, I hate seeing utterly classic pieces of film even considered for remakes/reboots. Some things just should never be touch.

Original ‘Back to the Future’ (BTTF) director Robert Zemeckis recently said that he won’t allow there to be a remake/reboot of BTTF as long as he lives. Which is a great thing. I don’t think we need to see this redone…ever…

Here’s hoping that this is only speculation and not something that we need to worry about.
