Before ‘Game of Thrones’ was ‘Rome’

I was a fan of the HBO series ‘Rome’ that debuted back in 2005. I loved its two season run and was saddened when it came to an abrupt end at the end of its second season. Though there were rumors that they had planned for a five season run and even considered a movie as well. I even own the two seasons on DVD, something I no longer need to do since I can view it any time on HBO.

Uproxx has a great article about how without ‘Rome’ there would be no ‘Game of Thrones’. This is a thought Melissa and I have shared in the past.
