Land of the Lost…I wonder if I could find my mind there.

Yeah, I’m taken the next couple of minutes and going crazy with updates because I know I’ll be working all day, here is another one.

Will Ferrell is attached to star in the comedy feature “Land of the Lost,” based on the classic television series of the same name according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Universal acquired the feature rights from Sid and Marty Krofft, executive producers of the original television series, who will produce the film. Adam McKay is attached to direct, with Chris Henchy and Dennis McNicholas signing on to adapt the screenplay.

The original “Land of the Lost” series revolved around forest ranger Rick Marshall and his children, Will and Holly, who are caught in a time vortex while exploring the Colorado River on a raft and transported to a mysterious world. The feature film will be an update of the series.

I grew up with “Land of the Lost” on ABC saturday mornings. No, I’m not that old, they remade the show as another show during the early 90’s. I thought it was great, but I never felt that the family was going to actually get out of the Land of the Lost. I guess if they did it wouldn’t have been a tv show anymore. Sadly the show ended before they could escape. If you don’t remember the show click here: http://imdb.com/title/tt0101130/.

Hopefully they don’t make the movie completely a comedy, but then again the whole situation is pretty funny, I mean coming a time vortex? COMON! Will Ferrell in a “TIME VORTEX” thinking about it makes me laugh. I’m sure that was how the pitch went: Will Ferrell in a time vortex. That just sold me on the idea.

To whoever is making this: You have my blessings. Godspeed!
