Traditionally (and perhaps for the last time this year) Melissa and I always give each other our gifts before going to our family’s house for Christmas, this year was no different. So we exchanged gifts this year, I received some really awesome gifts from Melissa, including this one:
Melissa bought me the rights to use http://www.cosmelentertainment.com go ahead and click on it nothing from me is up there yet, but its still cool to go and see what there. I’m hoping to get all the help that I can get from everyone that knows about websites.
Here is the message on the site that Melissa herself put up:
I’m so proud of her for doing it first of all, and second so thankful that she bought this for me.

HELP!!!!! ANYTHING!!!!!
LOL!
When you find the time…IM or call me.
I will, I’m actually substituting all week. Are you available in the afternoon? Say around 3ish?
Well…looks like I’m helping my uncle setup his new computer (he got a Mac!) for another day or two…but other than that, I’m probably free.
IM me, even if I’m away…if that doesn’t work, give me a call (cause I’m probably not here if I don’t answer IM’s).
cool cool, maybe on friday, I just checked my e-mail right this second, and yesterday I was meeting with someone, tomorrow I’m working during the day and at night and friday, I’m good in the afternoon or maybe night.
No worries…am keeping busy, too.
Whenever, man.
sounds cool…how’s your uncle’s computer coming along?
It’s going well, just a few more tweaks and he should be all set for a while.
that’s awesome…I read all the stuff you were doing to your uncles computer, it takes that long to set up a mac? explain why p….I’m not even going to go there…
Did you write that letter?
Oh, I did…the rough draft is done. Need to make some final edits, get the manager’s name, and send that thing out.
Honestly, it doesn’t take that long to setup a Mac…I probably could have left him alone after I configured his email. But my uncle buys a lot of things, then when they don’t work he throws them in the closet…so he’s been pulling stuff out of his closet going “hey, I bought this 3 years ago and it didn’t work,” so then I take a look and get it working on the Mac.
I also had to fix up the PC, since he still wants to keep that thing around…so I cleaned that up, disconnected the email, and moved things over like his Firefox bookmarks and all of that. Spent a couple of days trying to move over his email, but Outlook Express is very hard to export, since Microsoft sucks and can’t use the standard way of storing email.
Seriously, if he moved from a Mac to another Mac, it wouldn’t have taken more than an hour or two, LOL. It wasn’t the Mac that needed all of that work.
ohh! I see…I think I may be assimilated into the Apple sphere sooner or later, I like them, they seem to run really fast…
I just don’t like the mouse…I need some buttons
If you do, I’ll set you up…though I’d recommend waiting a few months. Apple just switched to Intel processors, and so they have some issues to work out before they get it right again.
They now come with a two button mouse that has a scroll wheel…though I bought one myself. As long as they’re USB, they’ll work fine, even if they’re made for a PC.
awesome, but I’m not planning on buying a new computer in a while, not until I make some money. I might also get a PC and an Apple, just so that the Apple can be my editing machine and my pc can do everything else. Or something like that….
in an ideal world…
sweet! that’s awesome, I did not know that!
No worries…can appreciate that.
