Four Villains In “Spider-Man 3”

Author: Garth FrankliniF Magazine has more from ex-Marvel Studios chief Avi Arad. Yesterday it was “X-Men” talk, today it’s the currently filming “Spider-Man 3” and they confirmed a rumour that FOUR villains will appear in the film.
When asked “There are four villains this time, Venom, Sandman, and Green Goblin and when is the fourth going to be revealed?”, Arad replied “Right we have four villains. Pretty soon [we’ll reveal the fourth villain] I believe. Maybe around Comic Con we’ll reveal something and the madness will begin”.
Many expect the fourth to be a cameo by The Lizard, the alter ego of Dr. Curt Conners played by Dylan Baker in the first two films. If four sounds like too much, its expected several of these roles are going to be minor with Sandman by far being the biggest.
Arad also commented on the hot debate over the black costume and how it lacks the giant white spider motif from the comics. When asked why wasn’t it used, he says “We reserved the white spider for something else”.
Our first look at “Spider-Man 3” will come with a teaser trailer at the end of the month attached to “Superman Returns”.
Nice! But please make sure that Venom has a big part too. Please!

YES!!!! Venom deserves the biggest part, Sandman never thrilled me much. Kinda like The Lizard.
But hey, it’s Spidey 3…so I’ll be thrilled to see it at all. 😀
They better make a movie with Carnage! By introducing Venom…there’s no way they can avoid Carnage.
I know! I liked Carnage so much more then Venom.
Carnage is just insane! Venom’s got personality…since he hasn’t totally lost control yet.
I like when Spidey and Venom team up to hunt down Carnage…good stuff.
I’m shocked they haven’t killed Carnage yet. Do you think Spidey 4 will have Carnage in it? Or do you think they’ll wait till 5?
