Remaking Total Recall???

It would take something like this to bring me back to the blog after a week long absence. I’m furious at hearing about his. How dare they think they could even make anything remotely good in comparison to one of the greatest science fiction movies of all time.

From darkhorizons.com:

Sony Plans “Total Recall” Remake

At the very least I could see something along the lines of a television serious, like how they were able to make a Sarah Connor Chronicles for Terminator. Yes, I know they tried a series long ago, Total Recall 2070, which really didn’t follow anything from the movie and failed miserably. But a true adaptation/continuation of the movie. Perhaps like a Buffy or like I said, the Terminator show, which is great. I hope they don’t cancel it.

I’m completely against this remake.

PS I really want to read the short story by Philip K. Dick (I want to say its called “We Can Remember It For You Wholesale”)I’ve wanted to for a long time.
