I’ve been hearing about Bad Boys 3 since Bad Boys II came out in 2003, but Men in Black 3? Actually, its Men in Black 3-D (which sounds like such a bad idea…). Darkhorizons has this one:

Martin Lawrence tells MTV News that a third “Bad Boys” movie looks like it’s happening and he’s already met with co-star Will Smith about it.

“Any time you can get Big Willie to come out and talk about doing a third installment of a hot movie like ‘Bad Boys,’ you have to take notice. I met with Michael Bay, and he said he’s onboard too — so it’s real… We’re just waiting on Jerry Bruckheimer to let us know when it’s really real” said Lawrence.

Peter Craig is penning the script but production won’t likely begin until next year when Bay has finished his commitment to the third “Transformers”.

Meanwhile Showbiz 411 reports that “Men in Black 3-D” is ready to go according to director Barry Sonnenfeld.

The helmer indicated that “Will Smith has signed on, Tommy Lee Jones is in, and a script is awaited”.
