Word has come out that the next season of the hit HBO series “Boardwalk Empire” will be its last. Sad news that they have gone in this direction as I can recall hearing that the creator had at least seven seasons in mind.

The next season will be its fifth and final season.

With this and True Blood ending this year, they better ramp up and start getting more quality hour long shows up!
