Yahoo is reporting this morning that a screenwriter has filed a $1 Billion law suite toward Tom Cruise, Paramount Pictures and 10 other defendants. This screenwriter is alleging that he wrote a screenplay and had it copyrighted back in 1998 called ‘Head On’ in which the events of the 4th Mission: Impossible and the screenplay have striking similarities.

This has happened many times in Hollywood over the years, but I’ve never seen such a high amount of money for a law suite.

I’ll keep you up-to-date on this as I continue to find out information.
