Since everyone is an animal (or rather a humanoid animal to be more specific) what do the carnivores eat?

Are there certain animals that are still animals? Have they all gone “hakuna matata” and are eating bugs? Are they eating (gulp) people?

*I understand this isn’t necessarily a true philosophical question, but I’m just having fun.
