Iron Man 2 pics

I don’t know about you, but when I first saw this picture (and I mean picture alone, by itself, with nothing else) I would have sworn it was another one of those Doomsday or Death Race movies (both of which I have never seen and I am simply going by what I’ve viewed in commercials) with characters that have to pic up random things because of the apocalyptic nature of their environment or something. But when I read further and learned that not only was it Mickey Rourke, but it was also a shot from Iron Man 2, I almost laughed…well more like a chuckle.

I don’t know much about Iron Man, but I thought the movie was good. Not fantastic or anything, but good. I watched it, I might even go see the second or, most likely wait for it to come out on Netflix because I’ve never had much of a thing for Batman rip-offs like Tony Stark (come on, a millionare who fights crime…Batman completely won that one a long time ago) but I like Robert Downey Jr. and I think he’s a good actor and I think I may have been one of the few people who saw it and went, “Ok, I can see this…”

First Look At Whiplash In "Iron Man 2"USA Today and ScreenRant have posted the first official photo of Mickey Rourke as the villain Whiplash in Jon Favreau’s “Iron Man 2”.

Taken from a scene set during the Monaco Historic Grand Prix, the photo shows the first appearance of the character – Russian Ivan Vanko who has “constructed his own version of a suit”. Some alterations however include a pair of whips powered by the chest piece.

As for that chest piece, which looks much like Tony Stark’s? “The technologies are definitely related, and that’s part of the core theme of the film,” says Favreau.

In the comics the character is a weapons designer who works for Tony Stark’s billionaire rival Justin Hammer, whom Sam Rockwell is playing.
