Yeah, its not quite Christmas yet, just one more day…last night I bought myself a turbo hot large coffee from Dunkin Donuts with a gift card that my parents gave me. It wasn’t as good as I’ve had it in the past. But let me tell you, I was on fire last night. It might not seem like a lot but last night I wrote fifteen pages of original work. I know I’ve been talking about how I’ve been writing or trying to write for the last four or five months…well, its just been one long ordeal, and I’m still writing this damn thing. I wrote it by hand and I finished sometime in early September, but it always felt like something was missing. So now as I’m transcribing it, I’m fixing things and adding things. And let me just go on record as saying that by the time I got to page 45 on the written page I was only on page 24 of the script. And I stopped for about two months and I didn’t think about it. Then about two weeks ago I started trying again and I read through the whole (at the time it was page 32 or so) script that I had transcribed (I have about 130 hand written pages and I was only up to page 45 when I stopped transcribing) and the next day I started to write notes down while I was a work. I was officially back. So on and off for the last two weeks or so I’ve been trying to write…and finally I got to it last night and I wrote 15 pages of original work. I had nothing to fall back on. Now I feel that what was missing from the hand written one is more whole now. More action, more suspense and just more. I wrote enough that by the time I started transcribing again, my hand written page was still 45, but my typed page was 50. Ohh man! Just thought I’d share my happiness with my script. I’m going to bring it with me to my parents house a little later and hopefully continue to work on it.
Anyway, I’m going to be to my parents a little later (with the Chew)I’ll be spending Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with the rentos. I’ll probably come back to the apartment just to check up on it tomorrow. Make sure everything is fine.
On Tuesday, I’ll be going down to South Jersey and heading down to AC (Atlantic City) for the night.
I’ll try and post some more pics and stuff as the day goes on…I have a bunch of Christmas Funnies to post, but I’m saving most of them for tomorrow.
