Its no surprise, I hope at least, that I (like Melissa) love squirrels. I’ve always loved them. I remember them as far back as when I was three and walking in the park by where my parent’s lived and seeing them and their big bushy tails. Hell, I always thought Mathew’s tail was like a squirrel tail!
Even Peanut Chew’s color and fur length reminds me of our friend’s the squirrels.
We love squirrels so much that I bought Melissa (and we still have) a Squirrel crossing sign:
And so, today I decided to look squirrels and squirrel crossing signs up and I found all of these pics and gifs:
I might love my rabbit or cat or dog but there is always a special place in my heart for the squirrels.

PS I haven’t done a post like this in a long time. One of my favorite posts like this was my Duck Hunt post. Follow the link to check it out: http://socramforever.livejournal.com/61009.html
PPS I looked it up on wikipedia.org and I found out that squirrel means this: A squirrel (Greek, skia “shadow” and oura “tail”; “tail that casts a shadow”)
I nearly stepped on a flattened squirrel the other day, while walking down an alley.
It was really gross, and made me kind of sad. But also really gross. 🙁
I was walking home once about like 15 years ago and I wasn’t paying attention, I was in my own little world and I almost stepped on a dead deer that was on the sidewalk. That was just plain gross!
Dude, you must have been really out of it to almost miss a deer! hahaha
