I just saw that this was officially announced back in January of this year for a release on the Nintendo 3DS in August. I for one truly enjoyed the Wii version of the original ‘New Super Mario Bros.’ and I hope that they will eventually put this out on the Wii!

Continuing with the side scrolling adventure game format, ‘New Super Mario Bros. 2’ will bring back the Super Leaf that allows Mario to become Raccoon Mario from the old Super Mario Bros. 3 days!
