It has to be a testament to how great the games of the 80’s (and 90’s) were that they keep coming back. I mean, Mario never left and to some extent, neither did Sonic, Donkey Kong returned in the 90’s with his Nephew taking over in Donkey Kong Country which just came back with a game last year and now Carmen Sandiego and Oregon Trail are returning…to facebook? Yeah, that’s right, they are being put on the social networking site.

Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego? On Facebook, of course! Darius Kazemi, one of the developers of both The Oregon Trail and Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego, has announced that fresh takes on both games will be released for Facebook early next month. The Oregon Trail will arrive next week, and Carmen follows shortly behind on February 9.
